Mint Club Bali is the place to go if Seminyak’s well-established venues don’t get you grooving enough. This live DJ nightspot offers lingering clubbers, who still have the oomph to dance into the wee hours, a classy clubbing experience.
Late evening drinks and after-dinner gatherings with friends is the scene here, and gradually builds momentum with steady crowds and regular highlights featuring resident and international guest DJs.
The playlist at Mint Club is a good mixture of house, hip-hop, trance and techno, which draws in night owls weekly. In addition to the main club, at front overlooking Seminyak’s Jalan Petitenget road is a complimentary business venue called the The Mint Terrace, where you can lounge away casually beside an open bar serving world-class cocktails and cuisines.
Mint Club Bali is within only a hundred metres of other notable grazing spots along the Petitenget route, such as the W Retreat Seminyak, home to WooBar, and the Potato Head Beach Club. Therefore, it is an easy stroll to head off to after late dinners in the area. Being set off the main crowded ‘eat street’ of Jalan Kayu Aya also has its benefits, as Mint is one among a handful of venues out of the usual gridlocks to offer late night gigs that go on well into the mornings. Parking is an issue here, so taxi rides are the way to go.
The drink list at Mint Bali is broad with a good selection of wines, classic and house cocktails and mocktails. For something different, try one of Mint’s favourites, such as Around Bali or the Apple Mint Martini with apple vodka, mint leaves, Cointreau, fresh limejuice and a dash of apple syrup. Or tryout the Green Samurai of Pandan which combines vodka, Kwai Feh lychee liqueur, homemade pandan syrup and a splash of fresh limejuice.
At Mint Terrace, besides people watching, you get to experience personalised service with subtle background music to ensure you have a peace of mind as you relax and unwind. The beat is turned up slightly with live bands playing at 19:00 from Thursday to Sunday. You are also treated to world-class cuisine here produced by their team of chefs. Mint Terrace is open seven days a week; Monday to Wednesday from 16:00 to midnight and Thursday to Sunday from 16:00 to 02:00.
