LE PIRATE BEACH CLUB in NUSA CENINGAN

Le Pirate Beach Club on Nusa Ceningan Island serves as a great base for exploring the Nusa islands. The beach club appeals to adventure travellers in need of a break. Its freeform infinity pool and decks overlook the calm waters of the Ceningan Strait. Its best enjoyed as a guest staying in its white-washed, thatch-roofed beach boxes that blend simple elegance with rustic charm. However, as a public visitor you can enjoy a swim, and chill out by day or at sunset with light bites and cocktails from its adjacent restaurant and bar.

Le Pirate Beach Club Highlights

The beach boxes at Le Pirate Beach Club come in double and bunk bed options that sleep four. Each includes air conditioning, a private bathroom, and splendid ocean views. The open-air bathrooms with high walls and no roof can take some getting used to, but adds to the place’s jungle-chic vibe. The restaurant serves a mix of Indonesian and western foods, from nasi goreng fried rice to BLTs. From the bar, you have selections of refreshing cocktails such as Mango Martini and Watermelon Crush. Average prices are IDR 85,000 (USD 6).

To get to Le Pirate Beach Club, simply take one of the regular speed boats from Sanur Beach on the Bali mainland, which depart around eight times daily to Nusa Lembongan. A motorcycle taxi or pickup truck will take you across Nusa Lembongan and the yellow bridge spanning the channel to Nusa Ceningan and Le Pirate.
