Ku De Ta Bali is one of the most prominent party hotspots on the island, often considered the trendsetter for upscale nightlife and beach dining venues in Seminyak that has inspired many similar enterprises all over the island.
The black-clad staff and the unique layout features a main restaurant area, a dedicated bar, a centrepiece lawn bordering the beachfront where all special events take place, and a special private loft for secluded VIP-style moments. All of these sections combine to give this dining and chill-out spot its island- and nationwide reputation. Ku De Ta is also home to Mejekawi, a modern restaurant offering locally-influenced haute cuisine.
Ku De Ta’s main restaurant features a modern and minimalist approach to architecture, but you will find a choice of dining sections coexist within. The Tree Bar features playful shades and textures reminiscent of a tropical forest setting, while the high-ceilinged Wantilan has a pavilion roof with a spacious canopy. There’s also a more intimate extension of the main dining room called the Pergola.
Besides the vast array of international dishes on offer at Ku De Ta, the beach club is best known for its parasol-shaded lawn area that plays host to various private and international scale fashion shows and events. Another extension is Fidel’s bar – a place to meet, be seen and rendezvous with friends on the expansive leather couches.
Despite all the interesting sections to explore inside, the lawn area and the day beds on the beachfront is where all the excitement takes place, while a dedicated sunset box is positioned to provide the perfect vantage point to appreciate the sun going down.
Ku De Ta Bali has its own in-house international DJ team who compile its own series of compilation albums. It has also teamed up with local English-language radio dedicated to lounge and chill-out music
